It was nighttime.
The molys had led Rebbo straight to the consul (the captain, taken as too difficult to understand, was left outside of the protective ring of trees", much to everybody's surprise.
"I brought him!" Cried out Jack triumphantly, holding the rope in his appendages underground.
"You were supposed to tell us first!!!!!" Cried everybody at the consul at Jack.
He wasn't phased in the least.
"Well, I did my job, so I'm going off to go do something random!" Jack stated, leaving Rebbo in the hands of the Chamoa, a monkey-like creature with tentacles sticking from it's back. One of these was holding the rope with Rebbo wrapped in it. The other nine or so were hanging from a tree, suspending himself in midair. The tentacles looked as though they could break bricks without trouble, so Rebbo kept his mouth shut as it talked.
"Where is Scalt, mammal?" It said with clenched teeth, barely suppressed anger anger easily visible in the air near him.
"Well.." Rebbo stammered, looking nervously at the animals nearby. "He was left on the ship when the Captain and I were thrown off by traitors."
"Well, why might have the rouges missed the leader of one of our peoples?" Inquired the Chamoa leader, speaking less angrily at Rebbo, in his strange English accent.
Rebbo thought a second before speaking. "Well, maybe.. um.. because of his unique phisique-" started Rebbo, before the Chamoa cut him off, looking actually humorous now. Apparently they changed moods fast.
"Its because he's tiny, isn't it?" The Chamoa asked with bright eyes. THIS certain Chamoa changed moods FAST. "Haha, Scalt does it again!"
"Shouldn't we go rescue him, elder silver? Asked some of the Leaders towards a graying squirrel with huge front claws.
"I think that there is no need to rescue Scalt. However, we must listen to what he says and take it all in. Calmly." The elder spoke in a slow, steady voice, which seemed to lull the crowd into a dull silence.
They didn't doubt the elder, Silver, Pearl and Ruby of the elders had the greatest hearing. The stories of them being able to detect a flea rustling were absolutely true.
All of a sudden, an unusually wet, muddy mound burst from the earth, shaking itself until it became clear.
"Scalt!" Cried someone in the crowd.
