The Rare Purple Elephant pt. 10

Rebbo pushed through the light foliage, making his way slowly towards the center, slashing at the thicker parts with his machete.
All of a sudden, there was a flurry of wings and feathers, and a bird which he should have seen earlier, with it's astonishing colors, a vivid yellow chest, bright blue wings and a green belly.
He was just stunned there, his mind a little dazed at seeing the colors mix when the bird flapped. Then the bird called, just like a parrot, "Go away!" and flew off.
Woah. It was too late to take a picture, and it had taken all of it's feathers with it, so no souvenirs there.. oh well!
But Rebbo kept a positive attitude, an even though he was energetic, his arm was getting tired from slashing through the increasingly thick vines and branches. He was one third of the way into the island, and, as ironic as it was, he was going on one of the two routes that held barely any spectacular animals. Yeesh..

Back onboard the ship, the captain and his men were drinking some tea, getting ready for some adventure.
When he was in conversation with one of the four men, two of them were appearing to have polite conversation, but in fact, what they were really talking about has much darker origins.

DUN DUN DUNNNN!!!
