Stwawbewwiez!!!!!!!

Today on this quite sunny seventeenth of June, I awoke early to receive a great surprise! We were going to pick strawberries at the strawberry farm just out of town! The time was perfect for strawberries, and we set out at quarter past 9 in the morning. It was ten when we got there, and we began rapidly picking the strawberries before anyone else could.
We chose a spot that was easy to overlook, but was flowing with the juiciest, most succulent berries avaliable, and quickly gathered them up. I was the only one collecting them slowly and carefully, with the best bucket of all. My mom and Thomas managed almost five buckets altogether, yet everyone seemed only to want to eat the ones out of my basket.. how strange...
When we left, we drove over to the library, a rare treat. I selected around forty or so books for me to read over the next week, and set off. You have no idea how difficult it was to lug the heavy bag over to the car...
When we got home, I pulled out a book and started to read, munching on strawberries the whole time!

The beggining of summer break

The first sunday of summer break, and it wasn't too bad to say the least. To start off, I slept in until eleven in the morning, and it was really good to finally get that sleep over with.
When I was awoken by pops, he revealed to me that it was time for change to come, and I agreed.
He had put a few programs on my computer, two to be precise.
One made a much needed improvement to the timing of the computer, so that it would shut down and start up at correct times.
The other filtered the stuff I could go onto online, so no bloody stuff or other things im not supposed to look at.
It's not too bad, really. I just wake up early to get the 5:00 window, then I'm so tired after I finish the 9:00 one, that I plop to sleep.

This would work good, except that he still didn't have all of the kinks worked out yet, and so from 8 in the night to 9:30, he fixed it. I am really grateful, and as soon as I finish writing this I am plopping off for the night.

A restless night

This night was a restless one.

After a really early nap at 6 in the afternoon yesterday, I awoke at 11:20, 5 hours later.
Pops was watching a movie, so I joined along for a while.

At 12:15, when the movie was over, I went to bed. But not to sleep.

That early nap had completely messed up my sleeping patterns, and I lay in bed all night, waiting for it to get light out.

When it does, It's morning and it was too early. It was only 5:15! Still two hours before I was supposed to wake up.

And so, I wrote in my blog during that time, and now I am eagerly awaiting the school party that will happen later today.

Until the next post,
Francis

A slightly over average day

Today not so many things happened, until our friend Rachael came over to watch us while mom and pops go off to a small date!
She had brought us some munchies, (which we usually never get,) and me and my siblings sat down and enjoyed the conversations of the parents and the guest.

Three.... Hours.... Later....

After fighting the urge to fall asleep a few times, my parents had still not left. It was almost six, and they were supposed to leave at 5... It seemed like we were not going to have that free time we were wanting after all...

so, going to sleep, I now expect to wake up in the morning without the leave of my parents

Blaaargh...

Sorry for not writing for so long... This last week has has been a very sickening one, literally.

To start it off, I got a very painful throat, and when I coughed (as I was also down with the common cold) it felt like my neck was going to burst open. It was bad to the point of I had to smack my hand against something hard to distract me from the excruciating pain.
I missed one day of school with that, seeing as the coughing got out of control one night and I didn't get any sleep.
Around Thursday night, the throat problem just vanished without a trace, which I was happy about, until I realized that, on that same night, I got pink eye. () which, serious or not, was gona cause a huge problem with the choir concert later that night! (sheesh, lots of stuff in one night!)
So, after driving over to the school, the principal came out to greet us, and (no joke) gasped at how bad my eyes looked.

To put it short, I was formally excused from the concert, and also the following day of school.

Right now I am putting eyedrops in and eating pills that will cure my eye before Monday, which I really NEED to go to (too much missing of the school recently...

I hope to write again soon!
