Blue screen of death problems

Sorry for not posting for a while, but we have been having some technical difficulties with the internet connection, and it is quite a log story to tell, so I should begin.

It all started when we left to our dear friends Herman and Ruth's house, and we were packing up. As we left our house, I had a fleeting idea that if i could get some music online before we left, it would be a great way to pass the hour bye.
This was where I made my huge mistake.
During this time, I tried to connect to around fifty wireless routers at once, and the screen froze, then the computer shut off. When I started it up, it wouldn't respond.

Pops spent two days trying to fix it.

Two days later, we came back from our friends house and realized that it was the connection's fault. At our friend's house, there was hardly any to run off of, and at ours, there was. Dang.
In the end, it wasted two days of time, but we'll live...

The tension is killin me

Today not much happened really.
Getting to school was a shocker, as it had been four long days of weekend, and it was REALLY hard to get back into school mode, and I made a huge mess up infront of class...
After that though, nothing really bad happened until the end of the day, when the groups were announced. The last people left over from all the popular groups (Me, my best friend, and a leage of troublemakers) got grouped together...
Now ill have to endure a whole day of them, a full 12 hours. It's hard enough to stand them for 3....
At the moment i'm really depressed, and its not the write time to write anyway...
Until tomorrow...

5/25/09-Twigs n' small angers

This Monday there was no school for Memorial Day.

For starters, we all realized it was futile to try to do things, the atnosphere was just so casual. So, my pops went off to get some doughnuts, and I slept in.
Soon after, my brother Thomas went off and built a fortress made of twigs!
About as tall as my dad, it is very impressive, and, being made of twigs, is nearly invisible!
After playing a while in it, having a huge swordfight with some branches against my siblings, i went inside to watch some TV (an unusual thing, as usually the shows are horrible)
Somewhere after watching one show, I sat down and began to read the 'how to use HTML' site that my dear friend George gave me, and I still have only the faintest idea on how to create it...
Until mom burst in.
It was not a very angry moment, but there was tension in the air as she told me how i wasn't supposed to use the computer more then three hours a day.
Earlier when she said that, I thought that it meant that three hours were ME TIME, but now i understand theres a limit to everything...

That's pretty much all that happened today, so thats all for now, folks!

5/24/09-The ways of life are changed

Today things changed.

This morning I woke up to a new day, preparing my schedule for this Sunday, which happened to be work on my homework and work on my collection of stories (currently only has one in it, number sure to grow soon) for the whole day. This was going as planned, until around noon my pops said that he was going to work in ten minutes.
Forty five minutes later, he came in and gave me a huge pep talk, and a quite good and motivating one at that. After he was done with that, the contents of which will be discussed in the "my life" blog. Shortly after, around 1, he admitted that he did not want to go to work, but he was anyway and so he would be grumpy afterwards. He is expecting that I clean my Space Pod (my room) until it is spotless. Now, seeing as i have two younger siblings who have a past time of making a mess in here, it's going to be a job that will take a few days to complete, assuming they dont come in at all.
My pops will be coming back home soon, and i will be glad to show him that I have began a new blog and continued on my stories, although for more info you should go check out the My Life blog.
Thanks for reading!

My Great Pep talk

Note- this may be turned into a post eventually

Today, My dad gave me one of the most inspiring pep talks in the universe. Though it may have not been the best one, it was sure dang inspiring.
He told me that i was too hooked on Runescape, and that was completely true, i realized.
it was time to turn over a new leaf.
To me, he described our property here in oregon. this was what he said, more or less:
"Tell your readers about our property. Tell them that it was once an indian camp for hundreds of years, that it was the first place inhabited in this part of Oregon!"
"Tell them about our house in mexico, how it is built more rustically, with much thought put into the design. But that's not all. Make sure you remind them how it was built on an authentic pirate lookout, from when the times were worse and people from the phillipines were taken as slaves to bays in mexico such as the one we live on to carry the gold and silver that the spanish conquistadores took from the natives of the land to fill their ever widening treasuries."
"also, down where we live in mexico, we live near that ancient rock with a curch on it that was said to contain a time portal that indians used. The conquistadores figured this out, and thought that it was an evil thing, like they thought of all the indians, and figured it had to be destroyed. They dared not destroy it, as it might anger the spirits that would reak havok on their new colonies."
"instead, they built a church on it to prevent the so called "unholy" powers from getting through, and ever since, the 'door to time' as it was called was blocked off forever."

So, in the end, he said some more things about how it would help us if i made a blog about our life and put something concerning adsense on it. I don't have adsense running yet, but rest assured pops i will soon.

Thursday, May 7, 2009

Hello!
Its francis again, and i would like to tell you a little story about what had happened since my last post.
Driving on the way down, we went through mount shasta, and even in the middle of spring, it still snows pretty dang hard.
We were sleeping in the car, and i could just not fall asleep. period. I turned, twisted, and tried to find a space bigger then physics allowed me. twelve hours later when we left from there, i fell asleep. great.
That was the big event during the trip, so the fields of Portland came into view.
We neared portland, and evey sign that steadily read less miles to go then the last one kept our courage up.
Finaly, after a hectic trip, we arrived late sunday night 5-3-09. We were supposed to go to school the next day, but it didn't happen... so we just slept really to make up for the sleep we lost in the car, (or at least i did, my siblings probably just dug into the toys all day.)
Tuesday we went to school. I am not sure about thomas, but i, myself got at least one hundred shouts of "HEY! Francis is back!!!" right next to my face. Other then people occasionaly knocking jokes about my tan, things have drifted back to normal every day.

And hence continues the story!

Hello readers, It's francis here, and i am just jotting down a quick post on how things are going.
I am currently in Pheonix, Arizona getting ready to leave. I have not written in the three days i was here as i just recently discovered that going outside would grant me internet access, and hence did not yet have the opportunity to write.
So, this is the first real post on my blog, not counting the back-up.

We are staying with some friends named Bob and Simona at the moment, and i am enjoying the pleasures of internet, as it was reasonably hard to get that service in Mexico, so i went knowing about blogger for two months, and only getting the opportunity to write in it once (harsh, right?).
So, we have been here for two nights and three days, and are about to leave in a few hours.
Me and my family, who i will talk about on my next, larger post, are having lots of fun, and i am as well. These days have been new to us, as we usually dont have the resources that most families have, and we are enjoying our first pop tart and bowl of sugar blasted cereal.
When we leave, we will go in our mugwomp, the universal name for the vehicle that we drive around on trips. This time it's a toyota tercel, durable, poweful, and crammed of stuff to the extent that we have to sit on it all. It's fun.

So we are leaving soon, and i will write within the week. Happy Trails!
